What you'll do:
Work with senior leaders and customers to craft the vision and roadmap for the entire DevEx group
Work closely with UX designers, developers and domain experts to define the requirements and guide the execution of our DevPortal
Create strong partnerships with engineering teams and continuous feedback loops that allow us to better understand their problems
Oversee and help uphold product methodologies and standards across multiple product areas
Directly manage the team’s Junior Product Manager
Talk to engineers, analyze data, and conduct usability tests to improve the product
Research and analyze user needs, intents and business cases
Define user workflows and sketch wireframes based on your research
Own the product’s lifecycle from user research, defining wireframes and designing APIs to deploying code, measuring success and working with support
Deepen your business expertise in the world of DevOps
Qualifications:
Head of Product with hands-on software engineering experience and at least 5-10 years of experience in the tech industry
Strong leader with an excellent track record of building, managing and mentoring successful teams
Knows how to use qualitative and quantitative methods to define success
Can problem solve without perfect metrics
Excited to learn new domains and enjoys keeping up with industry innovation.
We are:
We are Wix’s Infrastructure Developer Experience team. We have a suite of developer productivity tools that serve our 2,000 engineers. We believe that we can better support Wix engineers by connecting our products across key engineering workflows to boost efficiency. Our main focus is currently DevPortal, the front-end product of all our CI/CD offerings. This pluggable platform will allow all of our engineering teams to build and customize whatever they need to improve their day-to-day development experience. As a group, we generate 8k builds and 600 deployments per day.
