We are currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced Project Master Scheduler to join our client. As the Project Master Scheduler, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely achievement of project milestones, and identifying and addressing potential scheduling conflicts.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize project management software to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers to identify project deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
- Align project schedules with project objectives and resource availability.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts.
- Recommend effective solutions to resolve scheduling conflicts and make necessary adjustments to project schedules.
- Provide regular reports on project progress and schedule performance.
- Establish and maintain project schedule templates and standards, utilizing tools like Microsoft Project.
- Work with project teams to develop contingency plans and implement risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project schedules align with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling and planning.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Project management certification, such as PMP or Prince2, is a plus.
