Project:
Onshore pre-assembly project based out of Taichung City, Taiwan. Looking for a suitable candidate with warehouse experience to join the Boston Energy team to support the pre-assembly of the Vestas V174 platform.
Scope of work
- Responsible for the effective management of internal items found within the warehouse including stock, kit and any other tasks as requested by management.
- Starting as soon as possible working a 4on-4off rotation working out the onshore warehouse assisting the pre-assembly project.
Role Description
As a warehouse technician your general duties would include managing of incoming goods as well as the inspection and maintenance of the storage facility, looking at reporting any faulty items if applicable through the appropriate channels. As well as this you would require a base knowledge of tools and equipment to be able to prepare the tools and equipment to assist the technicians on project and general inventory and goods management updating the necessary databases with changes.
The relevant technician will hold the following experience and training/certificates:
- Experience within the Wind industry preferably as a warehouse Tech
- 4 x GWO's including Working at height, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and First Aid training
- medical & Chester step
- Previous experience as a warehouse technician.
Competencies:
- Good IT skills (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP)
- You should be skilled within English both verbal and written
- You are a team-oriented person and have solid continuous improvement mindset and can maintain focus and keep the overview in busy periods
- Have knowledge of warehouse and Lean methodology
- Current and Valid Passport enabling travel between countries
