Our Playtech summer student programme offers employment opportunities for students, within our Casino Product Team, based in Gibraltar. It is designed to add value to the business, enabling us to accomplish real, impactful projects while offering practical, engaging, and constructive work experience to the student participant.
During the placement period students will be reporting into our Senior Casino Product Manager and asked to undertake the following (but not limited to) responsibilities and tasks;
- Setting up Playtech promotional tools in the back office for licensees
- Setting up Playtech bonuses
- Configuring game lobbies
- Testing promotional campaign set-ups on our test and live environments
- Working with BI and internal BI tools to understand and analyse promotions
- Exclusive games monitoring
- Competitor reporting/analysis for engagement products
- Maintain and update our team promotional campaign calendar
Qualifications
You are eligible to apply for our Playtech summer student programme if you are undertaking a degree in further education and meet the following criteria;
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to multi-task and manage your time well
- Self-driven and able to work at high tempo pace in a dynamic organisation
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Written and spoken English to business level is essential
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of the online gaming market (particularly Casino) with an understanding of the competitor landscape
- Passionate about doing the right thing and embedding a data driven approach across the organisation.
- Relentless curiosity, continually asks “why”/”why not” and persistently digs deep into information sources available to find the answers.
Behavioural Competencies:

Playtech Summer Programme 2023 Guidance Notes
Possible Tax Exemption
Playtech Summer Programme participants may be exempt from paying tax and social insurance contributions on their placement remuneration if they can provide confirmation to the Government of Gibraltar Income Tax Department that they will continue to be in full time higher education as from September 2023.
Registering your Placement
We are required to register your Summer Programme placement with the Government of Gibraltar, Department of Employment. To do so, we will need to know where you will be residing while you undertake our Playtech Summer Programme so please include this information in your application.
