Dole Packaged Foods seeks a self-directed, motivated, positive professional to serve as a Human Resource Assistant in our Atwater facility.

- Responsible for all COVID-19 processes (Screening, reporting, special projects)
- The HR Assistant will assist with HR recruitment processes including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, and conducting orientation
- The HR Assistant will support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Compiling and maintaining paper, digital, and electronic employee records
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
- Other duties as assigned based on the business needs

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Prior HR experience in a fast-paced organization
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to effectively present facts and recommendations in oral and written form.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate in English & Spanish (read & write). Punjabi is a plus.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
Education & Certification:
- High School Diploma or higher
