At Playdale Playgrounds we are a dynamic family-run, international business currently in 50 countries, who designs, manufactures and installs fun, exciting, outdoor playground equipment. We pride ourselves on creating exciting, innovative and educational outdoor play equipment that makes children smile all over the world, which is why we are on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to join our fantastic team in Lindal.
Previous experience in a similar role, although beneficial, is not essential and training will be provided to meet the successful candidate’s needs.
Your main responsibilities would include:
- The accurate OTIF (on time in full) kitting of orders, packing, and despatch of all deliveries leaving site
- Receiving all inward deliveries from manufacturing facilities in a timely manner, ensuring accurate system transaction
- Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
- Stocktaking duties as required

Skills/Experience Required:
To excel in this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a ‘right first time’ approach. You must have good numeracy and literacy skills. In addition, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have a structured approach. Being able to be demonstrate flexibility and possess a ‘can do’ attitude is also essential.
An up-to-date forklift driving licence is essential. A knowledge of warehouse management and barcode systems and a NVQ2/3 in warehousing would be advantageous.
The nature of the role is results driven so the successful candidate will maintain high standards when working under pressure and to varying deadlines.
