- Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
- Must be a Prince 2 Practitioner with strong project management skills
- Relevant certifications are essential:
- TOGAF
- COBIT 2019
- ITIL Foundation
- CCNA
- MCSE ITP
- Virtualisation Technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V)
- CISP/CISO
- Must have minimum 10 years Operations Management experience in a customer service environment
- 5-10 years Virtualization, Microsoft AD, SQL, and server operating system experience, including Networking and Telephony experience will be required
- 3-5 years Cloud platform exposure (Azure/AWS/Google) with Governance (King/COBIT) and Security Officer experience are important
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing SLA contracts internally and externally.
- Conducting ongoing analysis of current system utilization, needs and associated risks.
- Performing operational planning and execution to achieve business goals (Microsoft, Virtualization, Networking, Application, Security, Governance and Service Delivery).
- Coordinating and managing information reporting needs for MIS department and IT Steering Committee.
- Providing vision and leadership to the team who are responsible for providing end user technology support services.
- Ensuring system documentation, policies and procedures are aligned to Governance frameworks adopted, kept current and are enforced.
- Ensuring compliance and conformance to the safety procedures and BSP activities for self and subordinates.
- Ensuring compliance to Procurement and Financial Management requirements.
- Executing responsibilities of the Deputy Information Officer (DIO).
