RAMS Engineer - Saudi Arabia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are supporting a leading European consultancy and are requiring a RAMS Engineer for a metro project in Saudi Arabia

The RAMS Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the project meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, availability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the RAMS plan and processes for the project.
  • Conduct RAMS analysis, including Failure Modes, Effects and Critical Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD).
  • Develop RAMS reports, Safety Cases, and other project documentation as required.
  • Ensure that the RAMS requirements of the project are met, including reliability targets, availability targets, and safety targets.
  • Liaise with other members of the project team to ensure that RAMS issues are properly addressed.
  • Identify and mitigate RAMS risks and hazards throughout the project life cycle.
  • Provide RAMS training to the project team and stakeholders as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in RAMS engineering on large transportation projects, preferably on metro or rail projects.
  • Strong knowledge of RAMS principles and methods, including FMECA, FTA, and RBD.
  • Experience in conducting RAMS analysis and developing RAMS reports and Safety Cases.
  • Knowledge of international RAMS standards and regulations, such as EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
