As their People partner you will implement People strategy, coach leaders, provide insightful advice and guidance to stakeholders, help drive employee engagement and retention, and deliver people and capability initiatives. You will be dealing with a wide range of People professionals, across both sides of the Tasman as well as stakeholders across the organization, so creating and nurturing relationships comes naturally to you.
You love business partnering, have a collaborative attitude, strong growth mindset, an ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organisation, and will work alongside our people leaders to understand their business goals, key challenges, and deliver pragmatic and sustainable People solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to develop and deliver impactful people plans that enable the delivery of our business strategy through our people.
  • Influence and collaborate with Sales Leaders to build a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with leaders, providing trusted support and guidance, anticipating and flagging any risks.
  • Lead change management and organisational design from end-to-end.
  • Attract, grow and develop our leaders of the future, building out compelling career journeys and career transparency to motivate, develop and retain top talent and ensure clear succession plans for critical roles.
  • Lead and execute key strategic People projects across the wider Goodman Fielder NZ business including the Early Careers Program.
  • Lead and own the People budget for your teams in close collaboration with Sales Leaders and Finance Partners
  • Support managers across all elements of the employee life cycle, partnering with our centres of excellence (Talent Acquisition, Reward, Organisational Development).
