Job summary:
Editors will proofread and modify articles from writers to produce entertaining, informative, digestible web content for both consumer and business audiences. Overall, the role requires candidates to ensure that all articles meet the specified article layout requirements
Responsibilities:
· Play a key role in delivering the company’s content strategy, focusing on a portfolio of comparison sites
· Read content and correct spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors
· Edit content produced in-house and externally, maintaining our high editorial standards
· Ensure that content meets the company’s and readers’ needs and follows an in-house style guide
· Work with designers to ensure a user-friendly experience for our readers
· Regularly upload new content to our CMS and ensure existing content is up-to-date and accurate
· Work closely with SEO and Commercial teams on content ideation with supporting commercial reasoning
· Develop subject matter expertise in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency and digital finance
· Manage freelancers to further our own content production capabilities, constructing clear, precise content briefs for external writers
· Raise internal awareness and understanding of the importance of high-quality branded content
