Reporting to the Medical Services Manager, we are looking for a systematically thinking person, who loves science and data driven medical communication, seeing the details and overseeing the bigger picture as well. You will make sure data on our products is provided in a correct and complete manner and we meet the highest standards in all we do. Our mission is built on the simple premise that we “follow the science” and that great medicines can make a significant impact to patients.
You will partner with the Medical Affairs colleagues, our vendor and have regular touchpoints with various departments across our Swiss affiliate and regional and global company.
Main Responsibilities:
Medical Information, 40%
- Respond to 2nd Level Medical Information Requests referred from the Dedicated Point of Contact and 1st Level Medical Information Team (outsourced/Vendor)
- Provide create, review, approve and manage standard medical information response documents
- Support training for Dedicated Point of Contact and 1st Level Vendor (System trainings, SmPC updates, other important country specific trainings needed)
- As assigned, cover local managed Vendor management responsibilities as part of the local Medical Services team
Review of Promotional and Non-Promotional Material/Training Material/external Speakers Slides, 50%
- Provide thorough review of promotional material in accordance with internal and external standards, rules and regulations.
- Provide high quality input during review of promotional material
- Provide system support
- Provide onboarding trainings and refresher trainings (system/process/local legislation training)
- Serve as Short Safety Information Steward
- Provide appropriate review services for Speaker Slide sets, in accordance with the respective framework of the presentation (non-promotional or promotional) in a timely manner
Process Management and Quality Assurance, 10%
- Contribute to the development and rollout and life cycle management of departmental Standard Operating Procedures and related communication
- Contribute to local implementation of new systems and tools
- Contribute to Quality and Process Assurance, analysis for Dedicated Point of Contact, Medical Information and Medical Review
Your Profile:
- Scientific degree and PhD in Life Science is strongly preferred
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and preferably German
- Strong team player
